Last Week on 7de laan 24/07/2015
Last week on 7de laan Charmaine picked fights with a few of the Hillside residents. You can read all about it here. The family wondered whether Charmaine was drinking again, but came to the conclusion that something else is going on. Vanessa suggested a visit to the doctor should be the next step for Charmaine. Try telling her that!
Matrone said enough is enough…something has to be done before there is trouble in 7de laan.
Xander and the rest of the family held a meeting to discuss her unusual behaviour. But Errol and Neville were not convinced.
…
Sonja finally came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to let her mother take care of Wian during the day. Many, many single or even married parents would give their eye teeth to have their parent/s take care of their child. At least Sonja can go to varsity and work without worrying about the child.
…
Herman got along so well with his two children Louis and Nadia…working well with Louis – letting him all but run T&T
and letting Nadia twist him around her little finger over sleeping over at Sonja’s.
But when it came to Willem, Herman was a lot different. Humiliating him in front of everyone. When he came up with the plan to buy a share in the Heights from Gita.
Felicity as always had to play mediator.
The more Herman and Willem clashed, the closer Felicity and Willem became.
With Felicity trying to encourage her stepson to give his dad a chance.
(Felicity’s wig is very distracting, not to mention ugly – although it apparently was made especially for her with real human hair and cost R9000! I would ask for my money back if that was made for me.)
…
Hilda made up her mind that she wouldn’t go camping with Oubaas.
Instead of just saying no, she pretended she was sick with the flu or a cold or something.
Poor Oubaas was so concerned about his wife, but Hilda took leave from the Deli and played sick everytime her husband walked through the door. Maria warned her that things were not going to end well.
…
Gita agreed to sell 51% of her company to Mr Spies. She of course has no idea who Mr Spies is. Can you even image – that woman is going to blame Ty when it comes out that Herman is the new majority owner.
The travel agency had a break in which Ty walked into. The Hillside Times sent Errol to do the story.
I wonder what the significance of the break in is?
Bernard and Sifiso are moving into Felicity’s old semi after the previous tenants left without notice.
